Jamie Cheng
Senior VP and Chief Analyst
In addition to his quarterly analyst reports, Jamie oversees operations and finance at Halogen Guides. Before co-founding the company, he served on the senior management team at RedEnvelope, a web and catalog retailer. Jamie started as the first employee at RedEnvelope and helped grow revenues from $0 to $110 million over an eight-year period, culminating in an initial public offering in 2003. He was formerly a management consultant at Prophet Brand Strategy. Jamie earned dual MBAs from the University of California at Berkeley and Columbia University, and a B.S. from U.C. Berkeley's Haas School of Business.

Alec Rosekrans
Associate Editor
With a lifelong love of aviation, Alec covers the world of private jets for Halogen Guides. Now entering his second year with the company, he also writes frequently about fractional and resort real estate, with an interest in sustainability and ecological development. An avid traveler and outdoorsman, Alec comes to Halogen Guides from UC Berkeley, where he majored in Rhetoric.

With more than a decade of experience covering real estate, travel, and personal finance, Amy spent four years as a freelance reporter and writer for the New York Times and wrote extensively on luxury travel and real estate for numerous publications including Fortune, Business Week, Golf Digest, SmartMoney, Travel + Leisure, and INC magazines. Amy is a graduate of Boston College.

Sue has been writing for Halogen Guides since 2007, covering real estate, jets and lifestyle guides for HalogenGuides.com. She has written for a variety of magazine and websites on topics ranging from living abroad to wedding bouquets. Originally from New England, Sue lived in San Francisco for ten years, before heading south to Dana Point, CA, with her husband and son. Some of her favorite things include hiking, open houses and dessert.
