On the fourth of July, 2021, I left my home in Toronto to travel round the world. I had been planning that for almost two decades, so I was quite anxious about it. I was planning to travel for more than a year, and I was quite apprehensive about travelling . About the 4th of JulyI packed my bag and set off to see some new places.
Travelling is something that I look ahead, even if it’s just once again. Sharing on: On 4th of July, 2021, I left my house in Toronto to travel round the world. I was planning to travel for over a year, and I was very apprehensive about travelling by myself. I’d constantly tell myself that I would go by myself for at least eight years – I definitely did not wish to break this rule.
I booked my one way flight and my connecting flight, and by the time I got off the plane I knew I was leaving my home country for the very first time. Travelling can be quite an adventure, especially if you haven’t ever done it before. I had been excited in my new location, Canada, but also worried about my safety. I’d bought a 1 way Canadian Passport by pre-booking it on line. I also carried with me my Canadian birth certificate, passport, and health insurance card.
I made sure that I fulfilled all my airline needs by making sure to receive my passport on the plane, keeping my passport safely hidden in my wallet, maintaining my medical insurance card securely tucked away in my bag, and taking pictures of each and every day of my life in Canada. I made sure that I fulfilled all of my airline’s needs for sitting through my flight. I browse my important documents (ie passport) within the PABX, spoke to airport staff, and prepared myself emotionally by looking through my photo album every single day. This technique saved me from getting any errors when my passport has been finally processed and approved.
Another tip I made to ensure my passport was in order and secure while traveling was to not bring my passport in my pocket. I usually brought my Canadian passport when travelling. However, I did not enjoy the sensation of carrying something heavy around with me, therefore I left my passport in the home every time I went out of the nation. Also, if I did leave my passport in my hotel room, I took a few extra measures to make sure I could get in my hotel room if I want to come back to my country. This process saved me from the distress of carrying extra heavy items around with me everywhere I went.
There are many different methods and tricks that I utilized to ensure that I was making the most of every single travel experience. I travelled across states, crossed the US border and stayed out of the tourist traps for over a month. In the endI had to pay quite a bit of cash to get back home, but I was able to spend less in the future by following these basic steps.
